I'm still thinking about moving my blog to tumblr, but I'm not really happy with design and all the functions I get there. Back from berlin fashion week with tons of photos I have to edit...and tons of new magazines :D

I an also thinking about uploading some digital photos here too..

..to continue in the next days.

PS: I do like this song very much.

Kommt Zusammen Festival

I visited an electronic music festival called Kommt Zusammen this weekend in Rostock and it was really awesome. I'm a huge fan of this kind of music, so it was a good opportunity to listen to a lot of great DJs paying only for one ticket (over 10 locations and 25 DJs). The highlight was of course one of my favourite bands "I Heart Sharks". I was dancing so much that I need some rest in the next days.

Check out their new video "Summer"!

BibliOdyssey is a collection of illustrations from old books. You can find there from detailed flora and fauna pictures to history maps and caricatures.

"Tumbling Backwards" by Young Wonder makes my heart beat slowler. Very dramatic and so beautiful.

The amazing cloud installation (or whatever it is, I'm still not very sure about it) by Berndnaut Smilde is like a little miracle, breathtaking!

A pattern a day is a wonderful blog with latest visual inspiration from all kinds of creative fields: fashion, design, photography. But especially fashion lovers will find there a lot of cute and inspiring pictures.

"Teeange crime" by Adrian Lux isn't a new song, but I was listening to it constantly this week.

Talented Sayaka Minemura shows us her life filled with cute little things and lovely breakfasts taking a lot of bright photos. You can see these and much more (like her inspiraiton) on her blog.

Ronald Searle Tribute blog is a collection of wonderful illustrations by Ronald Searle, who made drawings for such magazines like The New York Times, Sunday Express and Holiday. I do especially like his serie about cats (which you can see on the picture above) and how he used bright colors in his work. It is also impressive how every illustration he made shows his personal style, he definitely had a strong vision!

"Colours"(Captian Cuts Remix) by Grouplove makes me wanna dance and shout how good life can be! Hope it makes you good mood too :)
I'm also thinking about making something like a weekly "good mood" music mix. It's going to be electro-pop and indie.

Foster Huntington bought a van and is camping, surfing and travelling since he left his design job in NY. On his blog you can follow his journey documented through bright and fresh pictures.

1.week

Once I wanted to buy a book called "How to Be an Explorer of the World" by Keri Smith, I hoped to find some new ideas and inspiration. That is how I found her lovely blog with a lot of smart thoughts about life and art.

I guess it came out a long time ago, but I heard it yesterday for the first time and I love it. Such an emotional song.
The Rapture - How Deep Is Your Love

First time I saw the beautiful work of Max Knight in Oh comely magazine. It was a bit melancholic but very natural shooting of the actress Imogen Poots, which you can see on his website.

One of the best videos I have ever seen. Great effects, I can imagine how much work it was! But it is totally worth it.

I think it is really interesting, what light can do. Just a small candle can curse the darkness. Light heals everything and gives life. What can be more powerful?

I had a pleasure to go to Berlin Festival this year and it was really soo much better than Dockville, maybe because of the weather condition and the possibility to sleep home and change clothes.
I shot two films, unfortunately I got photos only from one, the other was too expired or there wasn't enough light (800iso?!), I'm still not sure what happend. But cause the most important thing was music and it was great, it doesn't really matter.

Austra,
the first time I heard this band

OH Land

Yelle

The singer has so much energy, amazing!

My personal highlights were Bloody Beetroots and Boys Noize, and right after them Mr.Oizo, the best night ever! A-trak, Skrillex were very good too

And a couple of photos of Club Xberg

One cool video by Dennis Dirksen about Skrillex at Berlin Festival
